There's currently a lot of hype surrounding the anticipated release of the newly improved version of The Great Gatsby, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and others. Although I never really enjoyed the book, I am super excited to see the array of fabulous costumes the film will have in store! I have always loved the 20s era - when women started to break away from the domestic path they did not want and stood up for what they believed in... and the skirts got shorter! One of my favourite 20s shoots I have featured is from Vogue circa 2007... check out Carey's up-and-coming shoot for them too!
