We’ve been waiting to see who would pop up on the street style radar with one of those bonkers Chanel hula hoop bags. So, who would do you think is most likely to sport the unusual arm candy? Someone like Anna Dello Russo, Tavi or some other attention-seeking, child blogger?
The bag did finally make an appearance and it was was worn by the male accessories editor of US Marie Claire Kyle Anderson.
On the way to Vera Wang fashion show, on the fountain of Lincoln Center, phone in one hand, hula hoop bag in the other–it all made sense. He’s got an outlandish sense of style and, well, he’s an accessories editor, so he has easy access to the bag. Teaming the oversized holdall with a black fur coat and leather trousers, the monochrome look was surprisingly chic but we just can’t get our heads around the bag.
We didn’t spy the hula hoop holder, but there are still three more fashion weeks to go.
