Lena Dunham on a Girls-Inspired Polish Collection by Deborah Lippman

The creator-director-star of HBO's buzzed-about series, Girls, Lena Dunham, has teamed up with Deborah Lippmann on a collection inspired by the series' four female characters.
Lena Dunham sent an e-mail to the celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann with a picture of her hand and a note. “It said, ‘Can’t Hannah have her own hunter-green kind of nail color?’ ” recalls Lippmann, referring to Dunham’s character on her breakout HBO series, Girls. “I was like, Lena, are you kidding? What are you saying? Of course!”

There’s “Hapless Hunter Green” for main Girl Hannah, played by Dunham, "Prim and Proper Pink" for Allison William's Marnie and  "Virtuous Vivid Violet" for Zosia Mamet's Shoshanna. Naturally, the polish for Jessa, played by Jemima Kirke, is called "Bohemian Burgundy."
